AIDS or the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is the most commonly known sexual transmited disease. It is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus or HIV virus wich is transmited through the direct contact of the mucouse membrane with bodily fluid containing the HIV virus such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, preseminal fluid and brest milk and it can be the result of anal, vaginal or oral sex, blood transfusions, and breastfeeding.
We all know that the possibility of getting infected with HIV/AIDS is cramping our style, and it’s greatly inhibiting our sexuality. We know how it’s transmitted and that wearing a latex condom can protect you from it even when engaging in sexual intercourse with an infected person. What I want to know is how this virus actually appeared in the first place.
A few days ago someone told me that AIDS was actually created in a laboratory and released intentionally or not to the general public. I know what you are thinking “what? ... no way” but hear me out first.
At the time of the industrial revolution we reached our first billion. By the end of the first world war we were grasping 2 billion, and in the past 80 years we more than tripled in growth from an estimate world population of 2 billion in the 1920’s to 6.6 billion today, and rising. This rapid growth is due to unprotected sex, and a lack of family planning and sexual information especially in undeveloped countries such as the African nations.
For those in power, the fear of infection from HIV/AIDS in developed countries, and the deaths caused by the actual disease in undeveloped countries acts as a means of population control. And if you also take into consideration all the profits that pharmaceutical companies get by selling drugs that increase the life span of infected people, well than you can see how AIDS is not just beneficial for the “string pullers” but also a very profitable means of income.
